Since January 2025, over 8,500 customers have placed their trust in us. Here you will find their reviews, both enthusiastic and reserved, grouped by topic: floor grip, raw wool scent, weight and transport, care, and price. All our rugs are felted by Filature Colbert (Camarès, Aveyron) using wool from farms in the AOP Roquefort area, then crafted in our Saint-Affrique workshop. 100% traceable production, shipping within 48 hours, and 30-day returns.

The grip between the wool and your hands or feet is universally praised, even for weight-bearing poses. The only concern is the mat itself sliding on certain smooth floor surfaces.
A felted wool mat does not smell like a PVC or TPE mat. In fact, customers often mention this scent in their reviews as a reason for buying rather than a drawback.
Felted wool may shed a few fibers during the first few sessions; a quick brushing is all it needs. It also absorbs moisture, which creates a different feel compared to a synthetic mat.
The yoga mat weighs 1.15 kg and measures 190 × 61 cm with a thickness of 8 mm. Reviews describe it as thick without being heavy, and the strap is a frequent addition to orders.
Our mats range from €25 to €150. The price is acknowledged as high in reviews, and accepted as such: the French wool industry is almost always mentioned in the same breath.
This is the most commented-on theme. The wool is described as plush while remaining firm enough for practice, and its insulating properties are mentioned constantly. Knees and joints are cited as the primary beneficiaries.
Fast shipping and direct contact with the workshop are widely praised. Reservations do exist, and we leave them visible: one Christmas order arrived very late, and an exchange for a defect took time to process—the two most critical reviews focus on logistics, not the mat itself.
"Beautiful," "magnificent," and "lovely object" come up constantly: many customers leave the mat unrolled at home as a decorative piece. The raw look of the wool and the artisanal finish are described as a charm, not a flaw.
"First, it was its pleasant scent that delighted me, then its comfort and exceptional grip. Perfect for weight-bearing poses where hands and feet tend to slip."
"It's beautiful, smells divine, is incredibly light, and amazingly non-slip… I'm sold!"
"Great for balance poses and handstands. The mat slides on the floor when I do staggered push-ups, and I sometimes slip during Warrior II or Triangle pose. Otherwise, it's very pleasant."
I wanted to place my feet on a natural material instead of a petrochemical one with a very... chemical smell.
I ordered the meditation mat this time. It’s even softer. I love the scent and the texture. It’s a real success.
A beautiful, functional, and lightweight mat that insulates well from the floor—and it smells great, too!
Before the first use, I brushed it thoroughly to remove a few small fibers or stray bits (it really smells natural).
Excellent product. It’s very pleasant because it absorbs sweat and is very comfortable. I highly recommend it.
The mat is thick yet quite lightweight, just how I like it, so it's very comfortable.
I also picked up the strap, which is simple but very clever.
"The cost is high, certainly, but I am happy to contribute to the development of a small French business with a purchase that makes sense."
"Coming from the High Pyrenees and being the daughter of sheep farmers, I am delighted that people have taken the gamble of using this resource. Long live your company!"
"Great natural, high-quality mat. It's comfortable and it's for a great cause!"

Some of our customers are yoga teachers who compare our mats to the ones they use in class. These are the most helpful reviews if you are still undecided.
