From local wool to the engraving: manufacturing under control
The material is collected in the Roquefort PDO area. The yarn is carded and felted in southern Aveyron. Then, from working the felt to shipping, everything is made in our workshop at the foot of the village of Roquefort. Cutting and engraving the design — including your baby's first name — give a clean, elegant finish.
Every step is designed to limit material waste. All the packaging materials are recyclable. The mat is entirely compostable: nothing is lost.
How do you care for it?
Baby plays, eats, spills? Wool just asks for the right habits: day to day, shake it out, vacuum gently, and let it breathe. To clean a mark, lightly dampen a soapy sponge.

A comforting mat, a consistent approach
This play mat carries the same promise as our other mats: to add value to a natural, local material that is far richer and more complete than synthetics. Wool is renewable and needs no petrochemicals to exist. By choosing a mat made in France from traceable materials, you are backing an object that is durable, sober and coherent: less throwaway, more meaning — with a premium finish.

Your questions, our answers
It is 100% wool, with full traceability of materials and production, from start to finish. No synthetic fibres, no dyes, no chemical treatment. Wool breathes and regulates temperature, so your baby is neither too hot nor too cold on the floor.
It is round, 114 cm in diameter and 8 mm thick, and weighs 1.02 kg. It rolls up and moves easily from room to room.
Day to day, shake it out and vacuum it gently. For a stain, use a lightly soapy sponge on the area, then let it dry flat in the open air. No washing machine.
It has no non-slip coating. Its weight and the density of the felt keep it in place while your baby plays on it.
It stays in the living room as a decorative rug, and can be passed down from one child to the next. At the end of its life, pure wool is compostable.
The first name or drawing is engraved once you have approved it. For Christmas 2026, order by Wednesday 16 December, midnight. Like all personalised products, it cannot be returned or refunded, but the legal guarantee of conformity still applies.
Dispatched within 48 hours. Delivery to a pick-up point costs €5 and is free on orders of €90 or more, in France and across the European Union. Home delivery costs €10 (€5 in France on orders of €90 or more).
Yes, within 30 days of receipt, if the item is unused and in its original packaging. Return shipping is at your expense. Personalised products and sale items are excluded. Your statutory rights (withdrawal, guarantees) apply in all cases.
The mats are felted in Aveyron and finished in our workshop in Saint-Affrique. The bag is made in Saint-Affrique, and the throw is woven in Argelès-sur-Mer. Only the strap is made in India, in a workshop that helps people back into work.
