From Millau to Saint-Affrique: exceptional material, local making
The material: full-grain nappa lambskin worked by Mégisserie Richard in Millau, with an authentic natural grain. It is assembled in Saint-Affrique by the work-integration association Tremplin pour l'emploi: genuine precision work, a long way from standardised production. Considered dimensions: 70 cm long, 20 cm in diameter, leather 0.8–1.0 mm, for around 300 g.
Effortless carrying, stress-free care
Slide the mat in, close it, off you go: the bag protects and carries with impeccable shape. Full-grain leather ages well but likes to be respected: if it gets wet, treat it with a suitable waterproofing product. Renew that protection every six months to preserve the beauty and durability of the leather. And the premium detail: over time it develops a patina and becomes even more beautiful.
Ethics, premium edition: add value, pass on, make it last
Here, leather is a by-product of the sheep industry: a precious material, too often wasted for want of a market. The choice is clear: add value rather than throw away, drawing on the historic craft of southern Aveyron. Between Millau, France's leather capital, and Saint-Affrique, the making is rooted in one place and supports employment for people returning to work. Yes. The bag was designed to carry an exercise mat (yoga, Pilates, fitness), whether it is one of ours or another brand's. It is 70 cm long and 20 cm in diameter, sized for our rolled mats. It closes with a magnet.
Full-grain lambskin does not cope well with water. Waterproof it with a suitable product and renew the protection every 6 months. Over time, it develops a patina.
It is nappa lambskin, worked by Mégisserie Richard in Millau, and a co-product of sheep farming. The bag is made in Saint-Affrique by Tremplin pour l'emploi, a work-integration association.

The mats are felted in Aveyron and finished in our workshop in Saint-Affrique. The bag is made in Saint-Affrique, and the throw is woven in Argelès-sur-Mer. Only the strap is made in India, in a workshop that helps people back into work.
